What benefits can I get by opening a StockHit demo account?

Opening a demo account is benefic and indicated at the same time before opening a real account, because the client is placed in the trading area by simulating the transactions. A demo account will provide you the benefit of learning and testing some trading ideas, before applying them on a real account.

The StockHit demo platform offers you a 10.000 RON account for enjoying stock transactions listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, with the same functions as the real trading platform (except those that require a real account).

 

For how long is the demo account valid?

The StockHit demo account is valid at first for 20 days. After opening the demo account, and as long as you have this account, you will be contacted by Romcapital's staff in order to offer you technical and trading support. Before the demo account expires, you may ask to the designated person of Romcapital (the one that contacted you before), to extend your demo account, or you can open a new one, following the link below:

How can I open a real trading account?

Opening a real account can be made easily on www.romcapital.ro or by following the link below :

After you have registered on the website, by adding your personal data, you will automatically receive the contract filled in electronically, together with the application for the account opening and the schedules, which you will have to list in two copies and send them signed at Romcapital's headquarters.

An alternative for the website registration regarding the real account opening is a simple request to the e-mail address support@romcapital.ro.

After you have sent your application (by any mean) you will be contacted by Romcapital's staff for additional information.

 

What is the minimum amount for opening a real account on StockHit platform and what documents are required?

The minimum amount for opening a real account is 3.000 RON.

The documents required for opening a real account are:

  • The contract in writing with all schedules and the opening account application – signed by the client.
  • ID copy (individuals)
  • Copy of tax registration certificate, ORC ascertainment certificate, constitutional record, the latest annual financial statements, empowering from Board of Directors for representation, copy of authorized ID (juridical person)
  • Account statement showing customer's IBAN.
 

How can I launch StockHit application?

Application lunch is made from Start/Programs/StockHit or from the icon (shortcut) on the desktop. StockHit System Login window opens where the client must fill in his user and password to access the platform and then click the OK button. If the connection with the server was established, it opens a window that informs you that the platform is loading with data from the server. Depending on the internet speed line, data will be loaded in a range of 10 to 30 seconds.

If you fail to connect you should check:

  • If you are connected to the internet;
  • If the connection is blocked by firewall applications (ports 44444, 44445, 44446 and 80 should be free).
 

How can I change the login and order password?

To change the login password you must access the login password window from the Edit menu. Considering the fact that when opening the account, the customer receives the username and the password from SSIF Romcapital to access the platform, on the first connection, the customer is obliged to change the password. The customer is also obliged to change the password every 30 calendar days. In this manner the customer will be notified when the 30 days have elapsed since last password change by automatic opening of the window change login password.

To change the order password you must access the change order password window from the Edit menu. On the first connection the customer is obliged to change the order password ( the default password is "changeme").

 

Can I change the workspace on StockHit platform?

The workspace from StockHit platform is made of 4 main windows. The first two windows are located at the top, named "market watch 1" and "market watch 2", presenting real-time stock quotes. The other two windows located at the bottom consisting of several tabs are providing various information and reports required in trading activity.

The platform has the advantage of letting the user to choose the four windows size depending on his preferences. The lines that mark of the four windows are mobile, therefore the user has the possibility to set a specific size. The line that marks of the windows is selected with the mouse (left click) and it is "drawn" left-right or up-down. The windows have also a tabular structure. Inside each window tables size can be set according to user's preferences.

After the first connection it is better to set the dimensions of the windows and the tables and then from File menu the user must choose Save profile. Thus, the setting are saved and at the next log the platform will open as the customer has previously saved it for any future changes of fields sizes that you want to keep you should use the Save profile option. After using this option you will receive a confirmation message.

 

How can I open and view a chart?

Accessing Charts menu in the upper left corner of StockHit platform, you can open and view a chart of any tradable symbol. From the left side of the chart, choose the market and click on the symbol to display the desired schedule.

 

Can I view quotation of Romanian capital market indices on StockHit trading platform?

Yes. This is possible by choosing from the lower left box, Market Reports menu, submenu Market Statistics. You can view the opening prices, minimum price, maximum price, etc.. for BET, BET-C, BET-FI, BET-XT and BET-NG, in real time.

 

What types of orders can be placed on the StockHit platform?

StockHit platform allows placing limit and market orders. To place a market order is not possible on simulation, only on real platform.

Also, you can place day orders, valid on current trading session and / or open orders, valid until execution or cancellation within 62 calendar days after the last update of the order.

Clients will receive confirmation of cancellation of day orders in Trading log menu, with the mention "out of term" and confirmation of cancellation of open orders in Trading log menu, with the mention "out of range"
